The Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra of Athens, under the direction of Vassilis Tsabropoulos, will present a special concert where Dvořák’s Slavic lyricism meets the romantic melancholy of Schubert. In the first part, the orchestra’s acclaimed soloist and principal cellist, Konstantinos Sfetsas, will perform Dvořák’s legendary Cello Concerto in B minor, widely regarded as the greatest and the “king” of all cello concertos.
