The MSO of Athens is proud to be Resident Orchestra at the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation, where it performs since its foundation.
Michael Cacoyannis Foundation is located in Athens, 206, Piraeus Str. (near Chamosternas Str.) Tavros, 177 78. Public Transportation Buses:
Individuals with Disabilities The entrances and exits, the halls, as well as the rest of the public spaces are all accessible by individuals with disabilities. In the lobby, transfer to the lower level is made by a wheelchair lift, while for the entrance from the parking station, there’s an elevator at the second level. Parking: A new cooperation between Michael Cacoyannis Foundation and the athensheart mall (located at Piraeus 180 –Chamosternas knot) began as from yesterday, by which MCF’s visitors-viewers are entitled to use the athensheart parking lot for free or with special fees on the day of the show and by submitting their MCF tickets, provided that there is availability. ATTENTION – ANNOUNCEMENT: Spectators visiting MCF are entitled to use the Athens Heart parking lot for free from Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 22:00. From 22:00 to 01:00 the fee is 2,5€ and 1€ for every extra hour of parking later than 01:01. On Sundays and on holiday days spectators visiting MCF will be charged with 2,5€ for the use of the parking lot from 10:00 to 01:00. From 01:01 will be charged with a fee of 1€ for every extra hour. WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE
We suggest you arrive 30 minutes before the concert is scheduled to begin. That will give you ample time to find your seat, relax and read the program notes. Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra of Athens concerts begin promptly at the announced starting time. Ticketholders who come late will not be seated in the hall until after the conclusion of the first work on the program.
Can i get a video or sound recording from the concert
Unauthorized Video and Sound recordings are not permitted for the MSO of Athens concerts and events, at the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation.
