Light and Shadow

The Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra of Athens presents Light and Shadow, an evening dedicated to the brilliance of classical and romantic masterpieces.

The concert begins with the lively overture from Haydn’s Symphony No. 104 “London”. Vassilis Tsabropoulos, internationally acclaimed pianist, composer, and conductor, will interpret Beethoven’s majestic Piano Concerto No. 5 “Emperor”. The evening concludes with Schubert’s timeless Symphony No. 8 “Unfinished”, a work of profound lyricism and mystery.
